    Hotel division of the Iberostar Group, with more than a hundred 4 and 5 star hotels in 16 different countries. Leader in responsible tourism focused on caring for the people and the environment, they are the first plastic-free hotel chain in the world since 2020.

  • What do they want?

    Iberostar Hotels & Resorts wants to give its customers a welcome pack personalized with its brand and created under sustainability criteria, with a packaging free of single-use plastics.

Arpe's proposal for Iberostar

From Arpe, we offer a locally and sustainably manufactured travel pack that can include neck cushions, eye masks and slippers, recycled and recyclable. In addition, as packaging to store all the elements, we propose a reusable textile sleeve made of leftover fabrics.

Processes

  • Textile sleeve

    In order to avoid single-use plastics, we propose two models of textile sleeves: one with envelope closure and one with zipper. The customer chooses the first model, made of leftover suede fabrics from the cutting of the cushions. A simple and completely custom-made textile sleeve (now already included in the catalog), based on the circular economy criteria.

  • Cushion and eye mask

    For the travel pack, they choose the inflatable and removable soft neck cushion with elastic band: super practical and easy to carry around. They complemented it with a matching eye mask, made of slif quilted fabric with recycled content (rPET post-consumer) and an adaptable elastic band.

  • Design

    Our in-house Design Department coordinated with Iberostar to create products that best represented their corporate image. Finally, these were digitally printed in both sides, in navy blue and turquoise blue, with the logo in white.

We reuse leftover fabrics from the cutting process of other products to create the textile sleeves, promoting circular economy.

We eco-design and produce locally, thinking of the most optimal measures and processes that have the least impact on the planet.

We manufacture with fabric made with polyester yarn from post-consumer rPET bottles.

We design and manufacture in our factory in Arenys de Munt that runs on solar panels, 100% renewable energy.
