  • What do they want?

    Alain Afflelou seeks to create a small sostenible sleeves collection for glasses as well as conscious with the planet and sell it in its stores.

Arpe's proposal for Afflelou

From Arpe, we offer our sustainable and multi-functional glasses sleeves for glasses, made with recycled materials and in five different designs, together with matching cleaning cloths that are sold separately. A custom-made Arpe x Alain Afflelou collection.

  • Soft Sleeves

    Alain Afflelou chose our 7,5 x 18 cm universal sleeve closed by elastic band, adaptable to any kind of glasses. Made with post-consumer rPET microfiber, they are super soft and thake up no space, in addition to having a double function of protecting and cleaning. Our creative team worked together Alian Afflelou to design five different models to their liking and create this customized collection.

  • Cleaning Cloths

    Alain Afflelou chose our 7,5 x 18 cm universal sleeve closed by elastic band, adaptable to any kind of glasses. Made with post-consumer rPET microfiber there are so soft and they are very space-saving, in addition to having a double function of protecting and cleaning. Our creative team worked together wtih Alain Afflelou to design five different models to their liking and create this customized collection.

  • Packaging

    Designed to sold individually, we also took care of the packaing of both products. So, each one is packaged in a polypropylene plastic bag made of 70% recycled and 100% recyclable material, and a small cardboard with all the information, recycled and recyclable as well. Both items come from local km0 companies.

  • Logistics

    From Arpe, we took care of the distribution and logistics to the more than 80 Alain Afflelou stores located in Spain. A service we offer to all around Europe. Thanks to the materials and design of our products, these take up little space and require less CO2 when transported, as many more can fit on the same trip.

We are sustainable because ...

We search for the most optimal sizes for our glasses sleeves and cleaning cloths and we cut the fabric accordingly in order to generate the least amount of waste.

All the items that make up and package the two products come from local companies, km0.

We manufacture with fabric made with polyester yarn from post-consumer rPET bottles and we print with OEKO-TEX certified inks. We design and manufacture in our factory in Arenys de Munt that runs on solar panels, 100% renewable energy.
