Weaving knowledge, innovation, and a sustainable future

  • Leitat: Eco-design Workshop in the Textile Sector

Within the framework of the Workshop Ecodesign in Textiles organized by the Leitat Technological Center as part of the European SOLSTICE project, we presented our research project Scarabat and showcased the results (as of today) of our research on how to transform the textile micro-waste generated in laundry processes into new products.

The session allowed us to share key approaches, methodologies, and learnings with other stakeholders in the sector, as well as identify opportunities to scale circular economy solutions that reinforce the durability and value of textile materials.

  • Barcelona Chamber of Commerce: Textile Talent and Sustainability

Within the framework of the European FEA-VEE project, the Barcelona Chamber of Commerce organized the event Weaving sustainable futures through collective co-creation.

An experimental space where companies, training centers, and students from the textile and fashion sector reflected on two major European challenges: the lack of qualified talent and the urgent need to transition towards a more entrepreneurial and sustainable model.

Arpe had the honor of opening the session with an inspiring talk on how experience and circular innovation can help strengthen the future of the sector. Because only by weaving synergies can we move toward a more human, creative, and resilient textile model.

  • PIMEC Forum: Do you have an AI strategy for your company?

Within the framework of the Workshop Ecodesign in Textiles organized by the Leitat Technological Center as part of the European SOLSTICE project, we presented our research project Scarabat and shared the current results of our research on how to transform textile micro-waste generated during laundry processes into new products.

The session enabled us to exchange key approaches, methodologies, and learnings with other stakeholders in the sector, as well as identify opportunities to scale circular economy solutions that enhance the durability and value of textile materials.

Commitment Beyond the Product

At Arpe, we strive to be an active part of an ecosystem that works toward a more sustainable, connected, and innovative textile sector. These initiatives are not just events — they are opportunities to learn, share, and build the future with a perspective that combines textiles, technology, and responsibility.
