ClientTons is a climate aware designer brand: remarkable cycling and fitness gear with a minimalistic look and feel. Made by cyclists, 3D-printed in sustainable plastic, produced in Denmark.
What do they want?Tons know what they want: a cycling towel (40x75cm) with digital printing in both sides. A microfiber towel for athletes and sporty people, aligned with its values of sustainability and circularity.
Arpe's proposal for Tons
Our microfiber towels, with all the savings they entail, were the perfect ally for the Tons' values: 0 waste. With the design and measurements already very clear, we helped them with the packaging decision. Thus, we proposed to wrap the towel only with the elastic band, reducing the packaging to zero. In addition, it was decided to print the towel's composition on the towel itself instead of sewing it.
Product and designMicrofiber towels are perfect for the world of sports: compact, lightweight, practical and quick-drying. So Tons did not hesitate. Their ideal product was the 40x75cm cycling towel with elastic band and their own design printed on both sides. Our touch: printing the composition directly on the towel along with all the great savings it entails compared to a traditional one. Less CO2, less energy, less wanter, less soap.See all the savings
PackagingTons' motto couldn't be more aligned with ours: avoid overproduction, inventories, and waste. So, finally, we decided to wrap the towel in its own elastic band instead of using extra and useless packaging. No polybags, no stickers, no paper bands. No waste.
We're sustainable because...
We eco-design, we look for the most optimal sizes for the towels and cut the fabric accordingly, in order to generate the least amount of waste.
We produce and buy locally, in companies nearby, km0, to promote the local industry.
We manufacture with fabric made out of polyester yarn from post-consumer rPET bottles and we print with OEKO-TEX certified inks.
We design and manufacture in our factory in Arenys de Munt that runs with solar panels, 100% renewable energy.
