    DiR gyms are looking for a more sustainable and cost-saving alternative to the cotton towels they offer to their clients.

Arpe's proposal for DiR gyms

At Arpe we are specialists in microfiber towels, so we have studied and analyzed all their properties. Thus, we offer DiR a radical change. To go from bulky cotton towels to lightweight, compact, recycled, quick-drying microfiber towels. An indisputable saving in every sense.

  • Situation

    DiR give a towel to each person who enters the gym, so they use, wash and dry hundreds and thousands of them every day. Thus, they realized that cotton towels were not practical at all: they took up a lot of space and more time to dry. And they started looking for a more sustainable option.

  • Product

    In addition to being made with post-consumer rPET yarn, our towels take up 70% less space and consume much less water, soap and energy when washing and drying. Thus, DiR gyms changed all their cotton towels for our microfiber ones, in a blue silk screening with their brand, highlighting all these savings.

  • Adaptation

    Changes are not easy. First, because as a company you never know if it will be profitable in the long term. Second, because you also don't know how customers will react. Now, seeing it with perspective, although everyone needed time to adapt, they can say that this change has brought them enormous savings both economically and in consumption.

We are sustainable because...

We eco-design, we look for the most optimal sizes for the towels and we cut the fabric accordingly, in order to generate the least amount of waste.

We produce and buy locally, in nearby businesses, km0, to promote local industry.

We manufacture with fabric made with polyester yarn from post-consumer rPET bottles and we print with OEKO-TEX certified inks.

We design and manufacture in our factory in Arenys de Munt that runs on solar panels, 100% renewable energy.
